The union between two people in a Kindred-Spirit kind of way is always beautiful. This shouldn’t be left to just marriages, or friendships - and I love this idea I have to create a Kindred-Spirit space with my Heart-Art Bundles.

Today my heart is so FULL, which isn’t because my life is perfect. I think it’s connected to the amazing volunteer experience I had this week. I spoke to an old gentleman and during the conversation he had difficulty speaking, and …. I have to say, as I experienced his struggle, my heart got bigger and more open.

It made me realize again how beautiful real vulnerability is. And maybe why Kindred Spirits are so hard to find.

I love working on this Ocean Abalone art, playing with it, pausing to feel it, and knowing it’s directly connected to my environment - the ocean near me - and all the ways Mother Nature and gardens inspire me. This is me continuing to connect to my own Heart first.
