“Feel Your Heart through Art” - Sending more love and art out into the world! See my website store for art Prints, a dress, hoodies, mugs and t-shirts. I am so delighted to have made a few sales and just love this idea of getting my strangely beautiful art and words out in public, wondering what kind of openings will happen, as long as I stay heart-open …

When I’m writing, I shut down emotionally at some point - that’s the unsafe part of not being loved for who I really am - and trying to consistently come out authentically. When I shut down, I stop editing well, and then the post is unclear and has mistakes.

But I post anyway, because I want to be able to hold a space for myself, in spite of the flaws in my writing or art. It’s building up my Heart-Space.

I’m so grateful that my art leads me on a tiny journey every time I commit to it. Graphic design isn’t completely AI, it’s digital, yes, but I still use different tools in Illustrator and Photoshop, and I’ve been working with Adobe software programs since I first fell in love with Adobe’s intuitive programs when I was 26, almost 30 years ago. The main part of my process is to try to toss my logo on the artboard floor or ceiling, and then rebuild the art into something new. 

The art that I love doesn’t come out immediately. Everything in life is trying to teach us how to (not) control life and live in the flow of our hearts. The art forces me to meditate, and to stop pushing. Every time I stop pushing the art with all my graphic designer knowledge and experience, that’s when the most interesting, surprising and beautiful art comes out. 

Every time I think I’ve dried up, I’m done, I don’t have any more to give, the art tells me otherwise … there are always more layers of art. (And this is what my Heart-Art Brand Bundles are.)

… And this makes me so hopeful because art is a reflection of all of our hearts. Just when we think we don’t have any more life to give anything anymore, there is always more love.
