Two fabulous ideas from "Happiness Expert" by Shawn Achor from my CALM app masterclass. On this day when my chest feels like it has a tractor trailer tearing me apart, there are other negative factors in my life, I am choosing this focus. First, to heal, and also the memory of a gorgeous hike I had in the East Bay a few years ago ... I had an expectation that the barren landscape would not product photo ops so this surprised me. I love this diverse natural and varied scape that the bay area produces and this is me remembering there will be more hikes and that my mental focus can always choose a higher ground. Not a rose colored lens where everything is always pretty, but the decision to focus on positives, and all the ways I want to expand that force in my life .... One tiny step at a time.
